We age raw Peruvian beans for over two months in rye whiskey, barrels furnished by Pittsburgh’s Wigle Whiskey (an award-winning organic distillery).  After aging the green beans, we ease into first crack, cut the heat and pull just before second crack as we feel this produces the perfect whiskey coffee flavor profile.  Match it up against the real thing, and let us know if we’ve done our job.  It is the perfect compliment to a chocolaty dessert or morning pastry and tastes great with milk and honey.

We age raw Peruvian beans for two+ months in rye whiskey, barrels furnished by Pittsburgh’s Wigle Whiskey – one of the best organic distilleries in America.  Alcohol is burned out during the roasting process YET the beans still retain some of the rye and oaky flavor of the barrels.
